Everton FC: club submits amendment to its new stadium project to Liverpool City Council

Everton FC (Premier League) has submitted an amendment to its new stadium project to Liverpool City Council (Merseyside, ENG), which provides for several changes to the project initially submitted to the public authorities in December 2019, announced the English club on 10/09/2020.

With a capacity of 52,888 (with the possibility of reaching 62,000 at a later date), the future Everton FC stadium will be located in the Bramley-Moore Dock area in Liverpool, on the banks of the River Mersey: "The most visual of the design improvements is around the West Stand (the stand facing the River Mersey) with the introduction of a new stepped plaza and the removal of the multi-storey car park. The changes will return symmetry to the building and will provide river views for supporters in the West Stand as well as creating an exciting new stepped terrace public space within an area of the World Heritage Site which is currently inaccessible to the local community and visitors alike," said the English club, whose subsidiary Everton Stadium Development Limited is in charge of the project.
