Valencia CF: launch of the "VCF Innovation Hub" to help sports and technology startups

Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander) has launched the "VCF Innovation Hub", a project through which the club will support start-ups in the city of Valencia (ESP) with initiatives and programmes to accompany their growth, announced the Spanish club on 17/09/2020.

"The VCF Innovation Hub, which will initially be located near the Mestalla (55,000 capacity), will initially focus on two aspects for innovation: sports and technology. The Sports side will implement an innovation platform related to medicine and sports sciences at the VCF Academy. The Technology project will focus on the development of an infrastructure for a smart stadium, as well as improving fan engagement," said the club.

The launch of the "VCF Innovation Hub" is part of the signing of a partnership between Valencia CF and the non-profit organisation Startup Valencia, which unites more than 600 companies from the technology and digital sector in the Valencia region.
