FC Bayern Munich: partnership with the Football School Qingdao (CHN) extended until 2025

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and Ecopark Qingdao, a project launched in the Chinese city as part of a broader partnership between the German and Chinese governments for sustainable urban development in China, will extend their collaboration initiated in 2016 with FC Bayern Football School Qingdao until 2025, announced the club on 19/09/2020.

"In addition to the long-term extension, expanding to additional urban districts of Qingdao is a central component of the cooperation. To this end, an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed together with the Ministry of Sport and Education of the Chinese metropolis of Qingdao," explained the club.

"The FC Bayern Football School Qingdao is our first football school project in China, which we launched immediately after opening our China office in Shanghai in 2016. We are delighted with the extension of this partnership as it reflects our long-term and sustainable strategy.
