Ligue 1 Uber Eats: "500,000 unique users on Free during Matchday 4" (T. Reynaud, Free)

“The application (Free Ligue 1 Uber Eats) is working. More than 500,000 unique users during the last round (Matchday 4of Ligue 1 Uber Eats 2020-21 from 18 to 20/09/2020) used their smartphones to watch matches live or summaries of matches. It's a new way of looking at football. We have no regrets about this investment, on the contrary," said Thomas Reynaud, CEO of Free, on France Info radio on 25/09/2020.

The French telecommunications operator Free launched its offer including live extracts of all Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches (from the start of the 2020-21 season, on 21/08/2020), on 19/08/2020. Available at no additional cost for Free subscribers (see details below), the "Free Ligue 1 Uber Eats" app was also accessible free of charge for all French people until 31/08/2020, or for the first two matchdays of the season 2020-21.
