Olympique de Marseille: more than a million followers on the Chinese social network Weibo

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has passed the one million followers mark on the Chinese social network Weibo, announced the club via LinkedIn on 27/09/2020.

"With a view to acquiring more fans internationally by offering content exclusively on digital platforms, OM chose in 2018 to launch into a high-growth market in the social networking and football sector: China," said the club, which has had an account on Weibo since 08/02/2018.

Olympique de Marseille thus joins AS Monaco FC, which has had more than a million followers on Weibo since 04/09/2020. Paris Saint-Germain announced that it had reached two million followers on 21/09/2020.
