Parma FC's (Serie A) participation in the 2014-15 Europa League will be reviewed by the High Court of Justice of the CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee) on 28/05/2014. The club is challenging the decision of the Appeals Committee of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation), which on 20/05/2014 refused to grant it the UEFA license needed to participate in European competitions.

The Appeals Committee decision is based on Parma FC's €300,000 in tax arrears; the committee believes that the club does not meet FIGC's economic requirements to qualify for an UEFA license.

The club said it paid the €300,000 tax debt, but after 31/03/2014, the deadline for the UEFA license.

Parma FC qualified for the Europa League 2014-15, finishing in 6th place in Serie A (58 points). If the appeal is rejected by the Olympic Committee, Torino FC, 7th in Serie A (57 points), will be qualified for the Europa League.
