"Mauro Baldissoni submitted his letter of resignation, effective immediately, from his role as board member and vice-president of the club, along with all the other responsibilities he previously held either for the club or as part of NEEP Roma Holding S.p.A. (majority shareholder)," announced the Italian club on 28/09/2020.

"Baldissoni joined the club in 2011 and was appointed general manager in July 2013, under Jim Pallotta's (former owner of the club, see below) presidency. In February 2019 he was named AS Roma's vice-president, tasked with managing the Stadio della Roma (new stadium project) approval process," added the club.

"The club would like to thank Mr Baldissoni for his tireless dedication to both the club and, in more recent years, the Stadio della Roma project, and wishes him and his family the best for the future," said AS Roma.
