Basketball: UnipolSai (insurance), title sponsor of the Italian league for the 2020-2023 period

UnipolSai Assicurazioni, an Italian insurance group, has become, together with Lega Basket Serie A, the Italian basketball league, title sponsor of the Italian men's basketball championship for the next three seasons (2020-2023), announced the body on 24/09/2020. The agreement also provides for Unipolsai to become presentation partner of the Round of 16 of the Italian Basketball Cup and the Italian Basketball Supercup.

This agreement was negotiated via the sports marketing agency Infront, which signed an agreement with the Italian League for the same period on the same day. "The partnership provides for the exclusive management of marketing, sponsorship and digital rights."

Beko, a Turkish household appliances group, was previously the title sponsor of the Italian championship, renamed the "Serie A Beko", for the 2012-2016 period and PosteMobile, an Italian mobile virtual network operator, for the 2016-2019 period ("Serie A PosteMobile").
