The project for the new Stadio Artemio Franchi (42,000 capacity, versus 47,282 currently), in which ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM) is ready to invest €250m, could generate a total economic impact of around €5bn over 10 years, according to a study carried out by Monitor Deloitte, a subsidiary of the audit firm specialised in strategy consulting, announced the Italian club on 24/09/2020.

To arrive at the figure of €5bn, the analysis takes into account the growth in ACF Fiorentina's revenues, new commercial activities developed by third parties, the creation of 1,000 jobs, additional tax revenues for the State and local authorities, and property development in the Campo di Marte district (see below).

"The new Stadio Artemio Franchi will allow ACF Fiorentina to diversify and increase its revenues: the €93m in revenues recorded during the 2018-19 season will grow to €225m per year in an average optimistic scenario, initiating the growth path necessary to close the gap with the best national and international clubs and achieve solid financial viability," states the study by Monitor Deloitte.
