Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (October 2020)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season total nearly 125 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/10/2020. The French championship is the least popular European Top 5 championship on these three social networks combined, with an average of 6.2 million fans per club.

Paris Saint-Germain is the most popular French club with nearly 81 million fans, followed by Olympique de Marseille with 11 million and AS Monaco FC, with 10.9 million.

Despite a decline on Facebook, the Parisian club posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of September 2020 thanks to 627,959 additional subscribers recorded on Instagram and Twitter.

Qualified for the group stage of the 2020-21 Champions League, Stade Rennais FC posted the best percentage growth on Instagram (+5.7%) among the Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs over the period, while Paris Saint-Germain posted the best percentage growth on Twitter (+2.3%) and Stade Brestois 29 on Facebook (+1.4%).
