Mediapro: Téléfoot application available on Sony Android TVs

The application of the Téléfoot pay channel (Mediapro group) is now available "on all Sony Android TV televisions, including older models", announced Sony France on 02/10/2020.

The Téléfoot application has been available in France on Samsung Smart TVs (except models prior to 2018) since 20/08/2020. The app is also available to iPhone, iPad and Apple TV users through the Apple Store since 18/08/2020. Mediapro has also signed distribution agreements for its channel with all French internet service providers (Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom, Free) but not with the pay-TV operator Canal+ which has taken Mediapro to court (see below) dated 18/09/2020.

Téléfoot broadcasts 85% of Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches (including 80% exclusively) and 80% of Ligue 2 BKT matches, over the 2020-2024 cycle, as well as European football cups (co-broadcast with RMC Sport) for the 2020-21 season, following an agreement with Altice France signed on 27/07/2020.
