Premier League: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (October 2020)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2020-21 Premier League season have over 531 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/10/2020. This total has enabled the Premier League to maintain its position as the most popular Top 5 European league, all three social networks combined, ahead of LaLiga Santander, with an average of 26.5 million fans per club.

Manchester United FC are the most popular English club with nearly 134 million fans, followed by Chelsea FC, with 87 million and Liverpool FC, with just over 80 million.

Tottenham Hotspur FC was the club which posted the best growth during the month of September 2020 with an additional 1.1 million fans, including 54% of them on Facebook alone.

Promoted side Leeds United FC posted the best percentage growth among Premier League clubs on Instagram (+20.8%) and Twitter (+7.3%), while Everton FC posted the best growth on Facebook (+9.4%) over the period.
