The FIGC Prosecutor's Office is investigating the conditions under which the match Juventus FC - SSC Napoli (Matchday 3 of the Serie A TIM) could not be played, as the Naples team did not show up at the Allianz Stadium in Turin (Piedmont, ITA) on Sunday 04/10/2020 (kick-off was scheduled for 20:45 CET).

The reason: the ASL (Azienda Sanitaria Locale/Local Health Agency) of Campania (the region of Naples) had banned the local team from travelling to Turin, as two of its players, Piotr Zielinski (POL) and Elijf Elmas (MKD) had tested positive for Covid-19.

However, the protocol signed between the Federation and the Italian government and approved by all the Serie A clubs authorised the team to travel to Turin. So the Juventus team (all of whose players tested negative the same day) came to the stadium as normal and waited for 45 minutes after the theoretical kick-off time before the whistle was blown to end the match.

Juventus is claiming a 3-0 win by forfeit, while Napoli made a prior request on 05/10/2020 to avoid forfeiting the match.
