D1 Arkema: broadcasting agreements in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Italy

"The FFF has signed a historic partnership agreement for the international distribution of the D1 Arkema. From this season 2020-21, the matches of the French women's championship will now be shown in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy," announced the French Football Federation on 08/10/2020.

"This agreement, negotiated with Canal+, exclusive broadcaster of the D1 Arkema in France (for the 2018-2023 cycle), has been entered for three seasons with Atalanta Media," said the FFF. Atalanta Media is an American entertainment company specialised in women's football.

Details of the various agreements:

• ESPN via ESPN+ (OTT platform) will offer 19 matches in the United States on its platform during the 2020-21 season.
• BT Sport (pay-TV) will broadcast 19 matches in the UK and Ireland during the 2020-21 season.
• DAZN (OTT platform) will offer 19 matches for the 2020-21 season via its sports streaming service in Italy and Germany.
• Ata Football (AtaFootball.com) will offer 19 matches live, replayed and on-demand, as well as highlights of the D1 Arkema's best fixtures in…
