Swimming: beIN acquires TV rights to the International Swimming League (ISL) in 36 countries

beIN Media Group has acquired the broadcasting rights for the 2020 edition (second season) of the International Swimming League (ISL) for "France, Turkey, 24 countries in the Middle East & North Africa, and 10 countries in Asia Pacific," announced the pay-TV group on 08/10/2020.

The ISL, financed by the billionaire Konstantin Grigorishin, an art collector with three nationalities (Russian, Ukrainian and Cypriot), involves ten clubs each with 12 swimmers competing in ten elimination phase matches at the Duna Arena, an aquatic complex in Budapest (Hungary), before semi-finals and a final.

The first elimination match is scheduled for the weekend of 16 and 17/10/2020. The final is scheduled for 26 and 27/12/2020.
