Premier League: EA Sports (FIFA 21), official partner of Leeds United FC from 2020-21

EA Sports, an American video game publisher from the Electronic Arts group, has become a partner of Leeds United FC (Premier League) from the 2020-21 season, according to the newly promoted club on 09/10/2020. The video game publisher has therefore, obtained the official license to use Leeds United's digital assets in its FIFA 21 football video game (digitisation of the stadium and players).

EA Sports has the status of official partner, the second level in Leeds United's sponsorship hierarchy."The exciting new partnership will see the club and EA Sports working closely together to create fan forward content that sees the worlds of real and digital football merge," said the club.

"The new partnership will provide the club with additional ways for the club to engage with our existing fans and attract new audiences from around the world and deliver additional value to our other commercial partners," said Paul Bell, executive director at Leeds United FC. In the Premier League, EA Sports is also in partnership with Manchester City FC and Liverpool FC.
