TikTok: number of followers of the 55 European Top 5 clubs with an official account (October 2020)

With 5.8 million followers, FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) is the most popular European club on the Chinese social network TikTok, ahead of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, 3.8 million) and FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga, 3.3 million), according to data recorded by News Tank Football as of 01/10/2020.

55 of the 98 clubs in the European Top 5 have an official account on TikTok:
• 18 in LaLiga Santander
• 12 in the Premier League
• 10 in the Bundesliga
• 8 in the Serie A TIM
• 7 in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats.

Among the 10 most popular clubs, all of which have over 1 million followers, are three Spanish clubs (Barça, Real Madrid and Club Atlético de Madrid), three English (Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC and Chelsea FC), two German (FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund), one Italian (Juventus FC) and one French club (Paris Saint-Germain).

Note that Manchester United FC, the third most popular European club on Facebook and Twitter, and fourth on Instagram, does not have an official account on TikTok.
