ACF Fiorentina: presentation of the future training centre, financed 100% by Rocco Commisso (€70m)

ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM) has presented plans for its future training facility, temporarily named "Viola Park" and which will be located in the municipality of Bagno a Ripoli (Tuscany, ITA), 7 km southwest of Florence, according to the club on 07/10/2020. The project, which is expected to cost over €70m, includes some modifications to the preliminary project that was presented by the club in November 2019.

"This is a private project, which means that it is me who will invest my money in the project. For my family it is a great pride to be able to say that I have given a facility like this to Florence and to Fiorentina. It will be the biggest sports centre in Italy. The first team, women's teams, youth teams, etc. will train for the first time in the same complex, where they will also be able to live thanks to the various accommodation facilities," said Rocco Commisso, owner and president of ACF Fiorentina. The start of work is scheduled for January 2021, with completion desired before the end of 2021.
