Spain: El Corte Inglés (department stores) extends as an official partner of LaLiga for 2020-21

El Corte Inglés, a Spanish department store and distribution group, has extended its partnership with LaLiga for the 2020-21 season, announced the Spanish league on 13/10/2020.

El Corte Inglés will continue to benefit from the status of national partner, the third level in the Spanish league's sponsorship hierarchy. The Spanish group has been a partner of LaLiga and its professional leagues (LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank) since 2017-18. The partnership includes the marketing of official LaLiga products in El Corte Inglés shops. As part of the agreement, the travel agency Viajes El Corte Inglés will also be in charge of travel and accommodation for LaLiga SmartBank clubs.

"With this renewal, LaLiga consolidates its position as a strategic partner for El Corte Inglés, and various activities are being carried out at its shopping centres throughout Spain that attract football and sports fans in general and generate business opportunities," said the Spanish league.
