Women's World Cup 2027: Germany - Belgium - Netherlands joint bid

"Three nations, one goal! Together, we are joining forces to bid for the hosting of the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup," announced the German (DFB) Belgian (RBFA) and Dutch (KNVB) Football Associations on 19/10/2020.

"Although the development of women's football in our individual countries is in different stages, we share the ambition to give the sport a huge boost, both nationally and internationally. We strongly believe that this special piece of teamwork can make the difference and increase our chances to host this tournament," said Peter Bossaert (RBFA general secretary), Heike Ullrich (DFB deputy general secretary) and Gijs de Jong (KNVB general secretary).

The next Women's World Cup will be held in 2023 in Australia and New Zealand, following the FIFA Council's vote on 25/06/2020. The date for awarding the hosting of the 2027 Women's World Cup has not yet been determined.
