Formula E: 2020-21 season begins with two races in Santiago (Chile) on 16 and 17/01/2021

The 2020-21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will start behind closed doors in downtown Santiago (Chile) with two races (Rounds 1 and 2) on 16 and 17/01/2021, announced the organisers of the electric car competition on 21/10/2020.

"Rounds 3 and 4 will be in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, on 26 and 27/02/2021. Returning for the third year in a row, the championship is carefully planning the event in coordination with the local authorities to ensure the safe and successful running of both races, with the intention of hosting an open race with spectators on-site," explained Formula E.

"Races in Mexico City (MEX) and Sanya (CHN) have been postponed until later in the year. Formula E is focused on racing in as many of our international host cities as possible, adhering as closely to our planned and previously announced calendar as we can," added Formula E.
