DAZN (OTT): Launch in over 200 countries with boxing on 01/12/2020 (£1.99/month or less)

The OTT sports platform DAZN announced, on 28/10/2020, its launch in more than 200 countries and territories with boxing matches "having an international appeal", starting from 01/12/2020.

The platform will market in territories where it does not yet have a presence (see below) for £1.99 per month or less, DAZN says.

DAZN had announced, on 02/03/2020, expansion into more than 200 countries and territories from 02/05/2020, with in particular the boxing fight of Mexican Canelo Alvarez scheduled for that date, a fight that was ultimately canceled because of the Covid-19 health crisis.

• The OTT platform DAZN is present, as of 28/10/2020, in nine countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan, Canada, United States, Italy, Spain and Brazil) where it has multi-sport broadcasting rights in each of these territories.
