Falken (tyres) extends as a partner of Borussia Mönchengladbach and Club Atlético de Madrid

Falken Tyre Europe GmbH, the European subsidiary of the Japanese tyre brand Falken (Sumimoto Rubber Industries Group), has extended its partnership with Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga) and Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) for the 2020-21 season, announced the company on 26/10/2020.

Both of the agreements were negotiated by the marketing agency SPORTFIVE.

Falken is a "premium partner" (third level, since 2019-20) of Borussia Mönchengladbach and "official supplier" (fourth level, since 2018-19) of Club Atlético de Madrid. "Individual sponsoring packages basically consist of LED banner advertising and static banners, with which Falken secures its TV presence on all the core European markets," explained the company.

"The two clubs have tremendous mass appeal, so we will benefit from the high media presence and the resulting media coverage. Especially since Corona means that fewer spectators are allowed into the stadiums and the matches are broadcast on wide-reaching TV," said Markus Bögner, president and COO of Falken Tire Europe GmbH.
