Ireland: Umbro succeeds New Balance as equipment supplier of the Football Association (2020-2026)

Umbro, an English brand belonging to the American company Iconix Brand Group, has become the official equipment supplier of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) for "a six-year period" from 01/11/2020 (2020-2026), announced the Association and brand on 29/10/2020.

Umbro will supply the match and training kits for the Irish men's, women's and youth teams. The new shirts of the Irish national team were unveiled as part of the announcement of the partnership (see below). The replica shirts will also be marketed without a main sponsor (from 12/11/2020), since the agreement with Three (telecommunications) expired in July 2020 after a 10-year partnership.

Umbro succeeds New Balance, supplier of the FAI for the 2017-2020 cycle. Umbro also added the Iraq Football Association to its portfolio of international partners on 23/10/2020.
