Liga BBVA: Adidas to replace Joma as kit supplier for Valencia CF beginning in 2014-15

Adidas will replace the Spanish brand Joma as the kit supplier for Valencia CF (Liga BBVA) beginning in 2014-15, the club announced on 25/05/2014. The multi-year contract covers, at a minimum, the 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

The new Valencia CF shirt is to be unveiled on 01/07/2014. Adidas will manage the distribution of products that are co-branded with the club. The German brand will also open a megastore in the center of Valencia. Joma, whose contract began in 2011-12, paid €3.5m to be the club's supplier in 2013-14.

"This agreement comes at a time when we are entering a new era in the history of Valencia CF. The contract with Adidas will strengthen the credibility of our club," said Amadeo Salvo, the club's president.

The takeover of the club by Peter Lim
