"During the consultation on our arena project, the questions focused on employment, economic benefits and the environment, which are strong themes already managed by OL upstream. The project for a new arena located within OL Vallée ("sports campus") - in the suburb of Décines-Charpieu (Rhône) - and with a modular capacity of 7,000 to 16,000 seats, is continuing. An important step, the preliminary consultation launched in mid-July 2020 intended for the inhabitants, associations and other stakeholders concerned, ended on 15/10/2020. The new stadium, which is expected to come into operation in the second half of 2023, will benefit from an increase in tram frequency to the area, with upgrades to OL Vallée's daily and regular service since 02/11/2020.
