LaLiga Santander: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (November 2020)

The 20 clubs in the 2020-21 LaLiga Santander championship have nearly 523 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/11/2020. This total makes the Spanish first division the second most popular European Top 5 league on the three social networks combined, behind the Premier League, with an average of 26.1 million fans per club.

Real Madrid CF is the most popular Spanish club with nearly 239 million fans, while FC Barcelona, second, with a total of 228 million, are ahead of Club Atlético de Madrid in third place with 29 million.

The 2019-20 Spanish champions posted the best growth in absolute value among LaLiga Santander clubs on each of the three social networks, with 1.2 million additional followers in total, including 83% (1 million) on Instagram. No club in the European Top 5 performed better than Real Madrid on Instagram during the month of October 2020.
