Spain: European Cups 2015-2018 tender deadline set for 30/06/2014

The deadline for offers for Spanish broadcasting rights to the 2015-2018 League of Champions and Europa League has been set for 30/06/2014 at 12:00 CET (Central European Time). Candidates must submit their offers to Team Marketing, the agency that manages and sells TV rights for UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) interclub competitions.

UEFA launched the tender on 16/05/2014. The date on which it would award the rights was not disclosed. These broadcast rights for European Cups are valid for all platforms (television, mobile, and internet). Those of the Champions League also include four editions from 2015 to 2018, of the European Super Cup, in which the winner of Champions League faces off with the winner of Europa League.

Within the European Top 5 (UK, Germany, Spain, France and Italy), Spain is the last country to negotiate broadcast rights for the 2015-2018 European Cups.
