Premier League: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (November 2020)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2020-21 Premier League season have nearly 537 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/11/2020. This total has enabled the Premier League to maintain its position as the most popular Top 5 European league, all three social networks combined, ahead of LaLiga Santander, with an average of 26.8 million fans per club.

Manchester United FC are the most popular English club with over 134 million fans, followed by Chelsea FC, with nearly 88 million and Liverpool FC, with just over 81 million.

Manchester United was the club that posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of October 2020 with 900,287 additional fans, 57% of which were on Instagram alone.

Promoted side Leeds United FC posted the best percentage growth among the Premier League clubs on Instagram (+12.5%) and Twitter (+4.2%), while Wolverhampton Wanderers FC posted the best percentage growth on Facebook (+7.5%) over the period.
