Tennis: Daniele Sano (ITA), appointed chief business officer of the ATP from 01/12/2020

Italian Daniele Sano, 44, has been appointed as chief business officer of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), according to the body on 11/09/2020.

Daniele Sano will take up his post on 01/12/2020 and will report to fellow Italian Massimo Calvelli CEO of the ATP, himself lead by another Italian Andrea Gaudenzi president of the body. "Sano will oversee all Commercial Partnerships, Global Sales, Marketing, PR and Business Development operations for the ATP," added the Association.

Daniele Sano previously held commercial positions at AS Roma (Serie A TIM) between 2015 and 2020, the sports marketing agency WWP Group (2015), the sports betting operator bwin (2007-2015) and the media and marketing rights agency Infront (2004-2007), after having been in charge of the Superbike World Championship (2001-2003).
