PSV Eindhoven: Philips extends naming rights to the "Philips Stadion" until 2030-31 (€2.5m/season)

Philips, a Dutch technology group (TV, household appliances, lighting, healthcare...), has extended its partnership with PSV Eindhoven (Eredivisie) for an additional 10 seasons (2021-2031), announced the club on 11/11/2020. This agreement is worth €2.5m per season, versus €1.5m per season over the 2016-2021 cycle, according to Dutch media.

As part of this agreement, the group based in Eindhoven (NED) will continues to lend its name to the Philips Stadion (35,119 capacity), a stadium that Philips built in 1910 for its employees. "The two organisations have been closely intertwined since the football club Philips Sport Vereeniging (PSV) was founded in 1913. Their 107-year-old relationship is now the world's longest partnership," said the club.

PSV and Philips will also "collaborate on new innovations that will encourage the club's professional sports climate, such as the PSV Top Performance Center (PSV's training centre).
