adidas: launch of the "adidas Football Collective" initiative helping amateur clubs in Europe

The German equipment manufacturer has launched the "adidas Football Collective" initiative to help amateur football clubs "by committing to offer 150,000 match kits in Europe, including 30,000 in France," announced adidas on 10/11/2020.

"adidas will deliver 150,000 men's, women's and children's match kits to more than 10,000 teams in Europe over the next few months. This is the largest ever support of its kind from the brand. In France, adidas Football is mobilising its community to prepare for the return of amateur football by offering 30,000 match kits to amateur clubs," said adidas.

"In France, this initiative is supported by adidas' partner clubs Olympique Lyonnais, FC Girondins de Bordeaux, RC Strasbourg Alsace and Stade Brestois 29, as well as by brand ambassadors Houssem Aouar, Maxence Caqueret, Selma Bacha (OL) and Benjamin Pavard (FC Bayern Munich). All of them have agreed to support this programme by helping to select the beneficiary clubs or teams," said the equipment manufacturer.
