Brazil 2014: Munich Olympic Stadium offers catering directly to seats during World Cup

Spectators watching the German team's World Cup (12/06 to 13/07/2014, Brazil) matches on the giant screen will be able to have food delivered to their seats in the stands with the free application Opentabs, beginning 16/06/2014, the date of the team's first game (versus Portugal).

On installing the app on iOS and Android, stadium-goers can order food and drinks from the stadium's food service, Arena One. They can pay in cash or through the app. The same app will be available for Bundesliga Basketball matches during the 2014-15 season.

  • The Olympic Stadium in Munich will show all of the German team's matches for the 20th World Cup on a screen measuring 140 square meters.
    • 30,000 spectators can attend each match.
  • Germany (Group G) will play Portugal on 16/06/2014 at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, Ghana on 21/06/2014 at Castelao Stadium Fortaleza, and the United States on 26/06/2014 at Arena Pernambuco in Recife.
