Switzerland: Credit Suisse to succeed Raiffeisen as title sponsor of the Super League for 2021-2025

Credit Suisse, a banking group based in Zurich (SUI), has become a partner of the Swiss Football League and has acquired the naming rights to the Super League (Swiss first division), which will be known as the "Credit Suisse Super League" for four seasons from 2021-22 (2021-2025), announced the League on 17/11/2020. The agreement was negotiated by Ringier Sports AG, the SFL's exclusive marketing agency.

"The bank will notably appear in the name of the top tier of the Swiss football league, on stadium signage and on the shirts of all Super League players. The new visual identity of the Credit Suisse Super League will be presented before the start of the 2021-22 season," said the body.

Credit Suisse succeeds another banking group, Raiffeisen, the title sponsor of the Raiffeisen Super League over the 2012-2021 period. For the 2017-2021 cycle, Raiffeisen's annual contribution to the SFL was between 5 and 7 million Swiss Francs (€4.7-6.6m). The banking group will now focus on its commitments to snow sports with the Swiss Ski Federation (Swiss-Ski).
