This figure represented an audience share of 24.1%, which ranked the German public TV channel first in the German audiovisual market at prime time on 17/11/2020.

In Spain, the match drew an average of 4.838 million viewers on the public channel La1 (RTVE). Audience share: 27.2%. This is the best audience in Spain for a national team match in the last two years.

Germany's six matches in this group stage of the 2020-21 Nations League versus Spain, Ukraine and Switzerland drew an average of 7.6 million viewers on the public TV channels ARD and ZDF (average audience share: 25.9%).
