FC Barcelona: Danone (food group), first regional partner in the United States (2020-2023)

Danone North America, a regional subsidiary of the French food group, has become the first regional partner of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) in the United States for three seasons (2020-2023), announced the club from its New York office (inaugurated in 2016) on 17/11/2020.

"Danone North America will aid the growing fandom of FC Barcelona across the United States through digital and social content, money-can't-buy promotions, and activations around major games, academies, summer tours, and more tailored to American fans," explained FC Barcelona.

As part of thie agreement, "Danone yogurts, coffee creamers and plant-based beverages including Activia, Danimals, Dannon, International Delight, Oikos Triple Zero and Silk will have regional rights with FC Barcelona's men's and women's teams as well as the club's US youth soccer academies," added the club.

• The Swiss multinational food and drink group Nestlé has been a global partner (second level) of FC Barcelona through its brands Milo (in Asia) and Nesquik (in Europe, the Middle East and Africa) since 2016-17.
