Agencies: Two Circles acquires the sports rights agency TRM Partners

Two Circles has acquired TRM Partners, a UK agency specialised in the sale of sports rights, according to the UK market research agency on 17/11/2020. This acquisition will create a dedicated "rights management function" within Two Circles, lead by Harry Horsley and Leo Thompson (co-founders of TRM).

"Two Circles has also acquired a majority stake in RugbyX, the World Rugby-approved 5v5 format of the sport founded by TRM. RugbyX features men's and women's international players competing on an equal platform, with equal pay, and debuted in 2019 at London's O2 Arena. It will be expanded globally from 2021," explained the agency in which Bruin Sports Capital, an American investment fund specialised in sports, acquired a majority stake on 16/12/2019.
