Marketing: UEFA and tennis player Naomi Osaka support the release of the PS5 (PlayStation, Sony)

PlayStation, a manufacturer of video game consoles and games belonging to the Japanese group Sony Interactive Entertainment (Sony Corporation group), has activated its partnerships with UEFA and the Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka to promote the release of its new console, the PS5, available for sale in Europe since 19/11/2020.

For the occasion, PlayStation has launched a signature video "Play Has No Limits" alongside UEFA. As well as presenting the PS5, the video highlights goals scored during finals of the Champions League, a competition in which PlayStation has been a partner since 1997-98. Sony's first console, the PlayStation, was released in 1994 (PS2: 2000; PS3: 2006; PS4: 2013).

Sony launched the first TV commercial for the PS5 during the 2019-20 Champions League final Paris Saint-Germain - FC Bayern Munich (0-1) at half-time on 23/08/2020.
