Leeds United FC: strategic partnership with Roc Nation (agency) featuring a mural of club legends

Roc Nation, an American sports and entertainment agency, has launched a strategic partnership with Leeds United FC (Premier League) to promote diversity via a mural featuring some of the club's iconic players, on 21/11/2020.

"Situated on The Calls, in the heart of Leeds, a mural has been painted by famed street artist Akse P19 in celebration of the new partnership, featuring club legends Albert Johanneson and Lucas Radebe, as well as homegrown midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

The artwork located on The Calls, in Leeds (Yorkshire, England), is named "Paving the Way" and was produced by the street artist Akse P19. "The mural design proudly honours the diverse heritage of the club, and the foundation of minority-owned Roc Nation, whose home is depicted in the mural via the New York City skyline," said Leeds United, regarding the work which highlights two of its former South African players Albert Johanneson and Lucas Radebe, as well as local midfielder Kalvin Phillips (of Jamaican origin).
