FC Internazionale Milano: a turnover of €372.4m (-10.7%) and net loss of €102.4m in 2019-20

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) posted a turnover of €372.4m for the financial year 2019-20 (from 01/07/2019 to 30/06/2020), down 10.7% versus 2018-19 (a record €417.1m), according to the Milanese club at its shareholders meeting on 27/11/2020.

This decrease in revenue is explained by the extension of the season beyond the end of the financial year, as the Italian championship ended on 02/08/2020 and Inter then took part in the Final 8 of the Europa League in Germany from 10 to 21/08/2020 (the club lost in the final). The transfer of TV rights and sponsorship revenue to the 2020-21 financial year thus amounts to around €51m, an amount that could have enabled the club to break a new record in terms of turnover generated.

Inter Milan posted an EBITDA of €14.5m (versus a record €105.2m in 2018-19) and a net loss of €102.4m (-€48.4m as of 30/06/2019).
