UEFA: PepsiCo (beverages), extends as a partner of the Champions League for 2021-2024

PepsiCo, an American multinational food, snack and beverage group, has extended its partnership with UEFA and will remain a partner of the Champions League for an additional three seasons (2021-2024), announced the body on 01/12/2020. The contract also includes the sponsorship rights for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions of the UEFA Super Cup. As part of the agreement PepsiCo will promote its Lays (crisps), Pepsi and Gatorade (beverages) brands.

"Looking ahead to the next three years as a UEFA Champions League partner, key priorities will include working together to deliver increasingly sustainable events, reducing plastic waste and recycling. Advancing equality and improving the lives of others also remains an important goal of the partnership," said UEFA.

PepsiCo joins Heineken (beer) and Mastercard (payment solutions) which are already committed to UEFA for the Champions League over the 2021-2024 cycle. The American group has been a partner of the competition since 2015-16 through its brands Pepsi, Lays, Gatorade, Doritos, 7up and Ruffles.
