DAZN (OTT): launch in over 200 countries with boxing on 01/12/2020 (£1.99 / month or less)

The sports OTT platform DAZN has now launched in more than 200 countries and territories on 01/12/2020, with world boxing championships from 04/12/2020 and "a slate of original programming (on demand)". The platform is marketed in territories where it was not yet present (see below) at a price of £1.99 per month or less (for example, €1.99 in France), announced DAZN.

The first boxing matches to be broadcast on the platform:
• 04/12/2020: Billy Joe Saunders defends his WBO super middleweight title against his English compatriot Martin Murray.
• 12/12/2020: Anthony Joshua will defend his world heavyweight championship titles against Bulgarian challenger Kubrat Pulev
• 18/12/2020: Gennadiy "GGG" Golovkin will defend his middleweight title against Kamil Szeremeta.
• 19/12/2020: Canelo Alvarez of Mexico returns to the super middleweight division to face undefeated champion Callum Smith (British) in San Antonio, Texas (USA).
• 02/01/2021: American Ryan García will face Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell for the provisional WBC lightweight title.
