VfL Wolfsburg: Compleo becomes a supplier and installs 76 charging stations at the Volkswagen Arena

Compleo, a German company specialised in the manufacture and installation of electrical charging stations, has become an official supplier of VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) from 2020-21 "for several seasons," announced the German club on 27/11/2020.

As part of this agreement, Compleo will install 76 charging stations (68 classic and 8 fast) for electric cars near the Volkswagen Arena (30,000 capacity). The brand will also benefit from visibility on signage at the club's stadium.

"Climate protection is one of our central challenges. At VfL Wolfsburg we want to do everything we can to ensure that we are carbon neutral by 2025. In order to achieve this goal, we will completely electrify our vehicle fleet. Compleo's support is essential in this, because efficient charging infrastructure is fundamental to change," said Michael Meeske, managing director at VfL Wolfsburg.
