NBA: Under Armour and Stephen Curry launch "Curry Brand"

Under Armour, American equipment manufacturer, and Stephen Curry (Golden States Warriors, NBA), have launched "Curry Brand", a brand bearing the logo of the American basketball player on 30/11/2020. Under Armour has been the equipment supplier of the double NBA MVP (2015 and 2016) since 2013 (until 2024, $20m/€16.5m/year).

The Curry Brand product range will include footwear, clothing and accessories for both basketball and golf. The first Under Armour Curry 8 range of basketball shoes will be launched on 11/12/2020. The brand will subsequently seek to expand into other disciplines such as running, and also aims to reach a female audience.

"By 2025, the Curry Brand aims to create at least 20 safe places to play, support 125 programmes that impact young athletes, and deliver opportunities to train more than 15,000 coaches (see below) - making an overall impact on more than 100,000 youth," said the American equipment manufacturer, which launched its first pair of shoes dedicated to Stephen Curry in February 2015.
