Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (December 2020)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season total nearly 128 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2020. The French championship is the least popular European Top 5 championship on these three social networks combined, with an average of 6.4 million fans per club.

Paris Saint-Germain is the most popular French club with 82 million fans, followed by AS Monaco FC with 11.9 million and Olympique de Marseille, with 11.2 million.

The Monegasque club posted the best growth in absolute value among the Ligue 1 clubs during the month of November, with an additional 723,990 fans in total across the three social networks. The majority of this increase (97%) came from Facebook, on which no European club progressed as much as AS Monaco over the period.

Stade Rennais FC posted the best percentage growth on Instagram (+3.2%) and LOSC Lille on Twitter (+1.5%), while AS Monaco obviously posted the best growth on Facebook (+9.5%).
