Real Madrid CF: a turnover of €714.9m (-5.6%) and net profit of €0.3m in 2019-20

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) posted a turnover of €714.9m for the 2019-20 financial year (from 01/07/2019 to 30/06/2020), down 5.6% compared to the record financial year of 2018-19 (€757.3m), according to the club at its board of directors' meeting on 02/12/2020. The impact of Covid-19 on revenues generated over the period is estimated at €106m by the club.

Real Madrid nevertheless posted a stable EBITDA of €176.9m (€176.3m in 2018-19). Net profit, on the other hand, fell sharply to €0.3m, versus €38.4m the previous year. The Madrid club also posted shareholders' equity of €532.9m and a treasury of €125m as of 30/06/2020.

The approval of these 2019-20 financial statements, which do not take into account the Santiago-Bernabéu renovation project, and the 2020-21 forecast (€616.8m in projected revenues) are on the agenda of the ordinary general meeting, to be held on 20/12/2020.
