Serie A : Nike to be the kit supplier of Atalanta in 2014-15; Axa no longer shirt sponsor

The American brand Nike will be the kit supplier of Atalanta (2014-15 Serie A) for 2014-15, the club's president, Antonio Percassi, announced on 22/05/2014.

Nike will replace Errea (Italy), which was under contract with the club since the 2007-08 season. The shirt will be presented and the duration of the contract will be announced by Atalanta in the coming weeks.

Percassi also indicated that the French insurer Axa would no longer be the main shirt sponsor of the club in 2014-15. However, the company will remain an official partner of Atalanta. Their contract was estimated at €2m in 2013-14. Several Italian media outlets suggested the possibility of a replacement by Alitalia. The club's president invested €15m in the company in 2013.
