Serie A TIM: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (December 2020)

The 20 clubs in the 2020-21 Serie A TIM championship total more than 213 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/12/2020. The Serie A TIM is the third most followed European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of nearly 10.7 million fans per club.

With more than 95 million fans across the three social networks, Juventus FC is the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (nearly 42 million) and FC Internazionale Milano (35 million).

Juventus posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of November 2020 with 955,061 additional followers, including 64% of them on Instagram alone. On this social network, only Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, +691,895 followers) performed better among the clubs of the European Top 5.

In terms of percentage growth, promoted side Benevento Calcio posted the best growth among the Serie A TIM clubs on each of the three platforms: +10.7% on Instagram, +8.1% on Facebook and +6.4% on Twitter.
