esports: Ninjas in Pajamas (SWE) teams up with Leeds United FC for the 2020-21 ePremier League

Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), a Swedish esports organisation, has teamed up with Leeds United FC (Premier League) to accompany the club for the third season of the ePremier League played on FIFA 21 (published by EA Sports), announced Leeds United on 02/12/2020.

"As one of the most established and iconic esports organisations in the world, NiP had been searching for a new partner to work with a companion, a football club with history, a compelling storyline and a name worth fighting for. NiP found what they were looking for in Leeds United and the two organisations have teamed up to create a new and highly competitive epartnership," explained the newly promoted club,"which is participating in the ePremier League for the first time  in 2020-21 (first edition launched in 2018-19).

"Just as Marcelo (Bielsa, ARG, head coach) has done with the men's first team, we intend on making our presence in the ePremier League known and being competitive straight away, creating a partnership with NiP gives us a fantastic foundation to do so," said Paul Bell executive director at Leeds United FC.
