Germany: Tipico (betting) extends as a partner of the DFL until the end of 2024-25

Tipico, a sports betting operator registered in Malta, has extended its partnership with Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH as a partner of the Bundesliga and the 2.Bundesliga until 2024-25, announced the body on 04/12/2020. The agreement was negotiated by Bundesliga International, a subsidiary of the DFL.

The initial agreement covered the 2018-2021 cycle (between €4-5m per season). Tipico will continue to have the right to use the brand logos of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga for its own communication campaigns. The operator will benefit from visibility on the DFL's communication platforms, notably on its digital platforms, but not on those of Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga clubs.

Tipico is an official betting partner of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) for the 2015-2021 cycle. Outside of German football, Tipico is the title partner of the "Tipico Bundesliga", the Austrian first division, through the ÖFBL (2014-2021, €2m per season).
